A platform offered alongside our ‘Main Season’ and ‘uNCOILEd’ performance seasons for schools to engage in a workshop where their students connnnect with national and international repertoire and choreographic processes used to create AUSTI’s most recent works.
The platform is facilitated by AUSTI company artists and collaborators at the IPAC.

Throughout the year, we offer performances for schools in selected areas across NSW with post performance Q&A sessions where possible. This opportunity allows students to gain a deeper understanding of the company while learning about the artistic processes and development behind AUSTI's works, as well as the day-to-day life of a company member.
Our tailored schools program gives access to a dedicated matinee performance, which includes
Live Performance: Engaging shows that inspire imagination and spark curiosity with themes designed to resonate with students.
Interactive Workshop: Led by our professional performers and choreographers offering students the chance to engage in activities that promote learning, creativity, and collaboration. (Technique, creative process and repertoire)
Q&A: Mixed panel of company dancers, choreographers and production from both AUSTI and Merrigong.
By facilitating these programs we are connecting and building relationships with the next generation of artists to maintain growth, vibrancy and creativeness in the industry.

HOW IT WORKS:
Live performance matinee show 11am 30 May 2025
OPTION 1: Followed by a workshop at the theatre post performance with AUSTI. Company and production. Capacity limited*
OPTION 2: AUSTI. company facilitates a workshop either before or after the season. The date is arranged to suit the school’s availability.

1:15 - 1:45 Break
1:45 - 2.30 Learn the Repertoire
2.30 - 3:15 Creative Process
3:15 - 3:30 Reflection / Q&A
* Subject to change for workshops facilitated at the school
FEE:
Matinee performance for School Groups: $15 + 1 teacher FREE for every 10 students (A per transaction fee of $6.95 applies for phone and online bookings)
Workshop program
$600 per school booking for in theatre workshop
$500 per school booking for 4 hour workshop or $20 per student
$400 per school booking for 3 hour workshop or $20 per student
$300 per school booking for 2 hour workshop or $20 per student
ABOUT NOTHING MORE WORKSHOP:
Nothing More features two new works choreographed by International artist Daniel Navarro Lorenzo and Sydney-based artist Genevieve Morris. Designed to educate, entertain and create a unique learning experience that fosters creativity, critical thinking and teamwork. In addition to our performances, we are also offering hands-on workshops tailored to various age groups and subjects. These workshops are designed to complement the themes of our shows, providing students with the opportunity to dive deeper into the material in an interactive setting that supports the dance curriculum course outcomes to enhance skills and competency in performance and/ or composition.
This is a fundraising event. All proceeds go towards supporting AUSTI. Dance and Physical Theatre's developmental dance company's annual programs. We thank you kindly for your support!
